It was cold and rainy here today. A great day to do some cooking and crafting! I made some treats yesterday. The Trix Bites recipe is linked here. Today I want to make some gift boxes so I can share my treats. Plus it is a good excuse to spend some time in my craft room! I made the video below to show you what I did.
I hope you will go do something creative today.
I made hand sewn wine gift bags and a matching card for a friend’s birthday. I made a couple of videos to show you how I made them.
At Christmas time I made a bunch of gift bags using my silhouette cameo. I love to decorate gifts that I am giving! These bags were really easy. I purchased the gift bag die cut off the silhouette store. It is a Lori Whitlock design.
You just set the software for the size of paper you are using and place the image so it fits inside the paper and send it to your machine. It is really that easy. There are so many types of paper available these days so you can make a gift bag with any theme for any occasion.
To assemble I found the easiest method was to use score tape to secure the sides and bottom of the bag. The score tape held very securely. I made 24 bottles of homemade vinegar and used these bags to package them. I will have the vanilla recipe up soon on the blog.
I made a short video on how to create the bags and I list the supplies I used below. If you like my blog and videos please subscribe and give be a thumbs up on You Tube. You can find me on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube.
Go do something creative today! See you soon.
